We want to make arranging a gig as easy as ordering a pizza.
Gigride is set to revolutionize the world of live music, and bring it up to date with the use of current technologies. Our online marketplace will save venues time and significantly broaden their access to performers, whilst giving bands and DJ’s the ability to easily expand their performance opportunities.
Hosts such as venues and promoters can create a profile with their relevant info (Facebook, Twitter, website, bio, picture, line up) to then post their available gigs, specifying date, genre of music, pay, and so on. Hosts can also browse the musicians’ database and message them. Lastly, hosts can accept or reject musicians’ applications.
Musicians can create a profile with their relevant info (Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, YouTube, bio, picture, line up) to then browse the available gigs. They can then apply to the gigs they like and reply to a host once the host has started the communication.
A rating system is in place to help users: at the end of every gig each music act and host are required to rate the other party on a scale of 1 to 5.
There is no contract required and the website is free for the moment. If we plan to introduce fees later they will be low and we will discuss the price with users well in advance of any changes.
